Best Online Casino Slot Providers in 2026

The best online casino slot providers in 2026 are Pragmatic Play, Evolution Group Studios, Play’n GO, Hacksaw Gaming, Relax Gaming, Games Global, Playtech, Push Gaming, Yggdrasil and Blueprint Gaming. Operators should compare them on six criteria: licensing and certification, RTP range, volatility, market fit, integration and commercial terms.

Best-online-slot-providers

You open a casino lobby and scroll. Hundreds of slots, each with a studio name in small print. For an operator, choosing those studios is most of the job. In the year to March 2026, slots made up around 84% of Britain’s online casino gross gambling yield (GGY), according to the UK Gambling Commission, and the regulator’s latest data shows slot activity still rising.

Every studio will tell you its games are popular. That’s rarely an issue. A studio’s best-known titles decide whether players click. Your results depend on things players never see: the RTP version you launch with, how the content plugs into your platform, and whether it’s cleared for the markets you’re licensed in.

This guide covers 10 slot providers, the 6 criteria we use to compare them, the RTP versions to check before you go live, and the 3 integration routes open to operators.

What Is an Online Casino Slot Provider?

A slot provider is a studio that designs, builds, and licenses slot games to online and land-based casinos. The casino doesn’t make the game. It pays for the right to offer it. You’ll also hear about the same company called a slot studio, a casino game developer, or a slot software provider. Different labels, same job.

So, what does the studio hand over? A finished game, and there’s a lot inside it. The reel design, the math model that sets the odds, the volatility, the bonus features, the art and sound, and the certified RNG that decides every spin all come from the provider. You’re not assembling parts. You’re licensing a complete product.

The name on the game screen tells you more than most people expect. It points to the play style, the signature features the studio is known for, and the RTP versions it offers. That last one matters most to operators. The studio’s name tells you a game can run at different RTPs. It doesn’t tell you which one your casino is running. For that, you check the game’s info before it goes live.

Then there’s a scale. More than 100 slot developers are active in the market. There are plenty of studios, and not all of them deserve space in your lobby. The rest of this guide gives you a way to tell which ones to do.

Top 10 Online Casino Slot Providers

Top 10 Online Casino Slot Providers

Top 10 Online Casino Slot Providers

Ten studios come up in almost every conversation about slot content. Some win on volume, some on one signature feature, some on jackpots. Here’s what each one offers in your lobby.

1. Pragmatic Play

Pragmatic Play launched in 2015 and is headquartered in Gibraltar. It suits operators who want one supplier for a deep slot catalogue, steady new releases and live casino, all through a single API and with approvals in 30+ jurisdictions.

Catalogue and release pace

The slots portfolio is over 500 games, all built in-house. New titles keep arriving. Its pages list:

  • Pelican Payday, Cheetah Wild (live from 8 October 2026)
  • Gates of Olympus 2500, and a Q4 content lineup was announced in late September.

Signature titles

Players ask for these by name, and each one now runs as a family of versions:

  • Gates of Olympus (including Gates of Olympus 2500 and Super Scatter).
  • Sweet Bonanza (including Sweet Bonanza Super Scatter).
  • Sugar Rush (including Sugar Rush 1000).
  • Big Bass series (including Big Bass Bonanza 1000, with wins up to 20,000x).

Licenses and markets

Pragmatic Play is certified or licensed in over 30 jurisdictions, and its games run in 33 languages and all major currencies. Its games page shows approvals from regulators and test labs, including the MGA, UKGC, GLI and BMM.

Integration and extras

Everything comes through a single API, so adding a second product doesn’t mean a second integration. Beyond slots, it supplies live casinos, jackpots, crash games, arcade titles, other RNG games and a player account management platform.

2. Evolution Group Studios

One group, four slot studios. Evolution is home to NetEnt, Red Tiger, Big Time Gaming and Nolimit City, so a single partner can cover everything from classics like Starburst to Megaways and xWays titles.

Catalogue and release pace

The group doesn’t publish a single slot count. By studio, NetEnt has 200+ games, and Nolimit City has 100+. New titles keep landing across the portfolio. Its latest releases include Nunchucks, Stormfire, Disco Inferno, Aftermath, and Happy Cappy. Several are sequels, such as Gator Hunters 2, Thor’s Rage 2 and Duck Hunters 2, which give you familiar names with new mechanics.

Signature titles

These are the slots the group puts forward first:

  • Starburst (96.09% RTP)
  • Gonzo’s Quest, including the Megaways version
  • Bonanza
  • Extra Chilli
  • Fire in the Hole xBomb
  • San Quentin xWays
  • Dead or Alive 2
  • Piggy Riches Megaways
  • Millionaire Megaways

Licenses and markets

Evolution is licensed and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority and, through Evolution Malta Holdings Limited, by the UK Gambling Commission.

Integration and extras

One group gives you four slot studios, which makes it easier to build a varied lobby from a single relationship. Its Spin Gifts promotion runs across NetEnt, Red Tiger, Big Time Gaming and Nolimit City games.

3. Play’n GO

Rich Wilde and the Book of Dead is one of the most played slots in iGaming history, by the studio’s own account, and it’s one of 400+ titles Play’n GO has built over more than two decades.

Catalogue and release pace

The portfolio runs past 400 titles, and new ones keep arriving. Five releases were announced between 10 September and 1 October 2026: Triple Beasts of Fortune, Lawn n’ Complete Disorder, Chunky Carlo’s Money Mania, Three Pots of the Genie and Ghost Booster. Games are grouped into series, which makes it easier to plan lobby sections.

Signature titles

These are the names to look for:

  • Rich Wilde and the Book of Dead
  • Reactoonz
  • Rise of Olympus
  • Chunky Carlo’s Money Mania (Grid Slots series)
  • City of Sound (Music Slots series)

Licenses and markets

Play’n GO delivers its games to regulated operators in more than 35 jurisdictions. It’s licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, the Malta Gaming Authority and the Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner, and its site shows test lab approvals including GLI, BMM and IBAS.

Integration and extras

Games are organized into series, including Grid Slots, Music Slots, Joker Series and Legion Gold, so you can build lobby sections around them. Beyond online slots, Play’n GO also supplies table games, land-based casino content and social casino content, which suits groups running retail and online brands.

4. Hacksaw Gaming

Hacksaw Gaming designs every slot for a vertical phone screen first, then makes it work on tablets and desktop.

Catalogue and release pace

The portfolio is 250+ games, but that covers slots, scratchcards, instant win, and crash, so there’s no slots-only count. Releases are monthly. The latest slots include Le Vampire, Dr Zappo, and Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier, and Moneyplane, its first crash game, launched in September 2026. Every game shows a volatility rating out of five, which helps you balance a lobby.

Signature titles

These are the names to look for:

  • Wanted Dead or a Wild (top volatility rating).
  • Chaos Crew (top volatility rating, with sequels Chaos Crew 2 and 3).
  • Le Bandit (also as Le Bandit Hold & Win).
  • Fist of Destruction (also as Megamultiplier).

Licenses and markets

Hacksaw is live in 35+ regulated markets and supplies 3,000+ operator brands. Its licenses include the MGA, UK Gambling Commission, Swedish, Danish and Ontario regulators, plus Greece, Romania and the Isle of Man. It has added Czech and Spanish partnerships in the past month. Even so, check that each title is cleared for your markets before you list it.

Integration and extras

Hacksaw games run on its own Remote Gaming Server, and its Open RGS programme distributes other studios’ content to its operator’s network. Beyond slots, it supplies scratchcards, instant win games and crash, and its slots offer feature buy, variable bet levels and autoplay.

5. Relax Gaming

Relax Gaming does two jobs for operators. It makes its own slots, and it brings other studios’ games into your casino through its Relax Apex integration. It was founded in 2010 and began building its own games in 2018.

Catalogue and release pace

Relax’s own games run to 100+. Content comes from three streams: Relax’s own games, Silver Bullet, and Powered by Relax. Its partner studios are hand-selected, so the lobby isn’t open to every studio.

Signature titles

These are the names to look for:

  • Money Train series
  • Temple Tumble and the Tumble series
  • Dream Drop Jackpots

Licenses and markets

Relax holds a UK Gambling Commission license and is also registered with the Malta, Gibraltar, Romanian, and Ontario regulators, with eCOGRA certification. It focuses its growth on regulated markets in Europe and the Americas.

Integration and extras

Relax Apex is its integration route, and the group positions it around speed to market. It brings Relax’s own games and partner studios’ content together, with Dream Drop Jackpots on top.

6. Games Global

Games Global was established in 2022, and it already puts 1,300+ games from 40+ in-house and partnered studios behind a single supplier.

Catalogue and release pace

The catalogue goes beyond slots to progressive jackpots, branded titles, table games, video bingo and poker, and crash games. New content follows a monthly roadmap. Septembers was anchored by Riptide Pirates 3: Cannons Hot!, and recent releases extend series players already know, including Immortal Romance and 12 Masks of Fire.

Signature titles

These are the names to look for:

  • Mega Moolah
  • Thunderstruck II
  • Immortal Romance

Licenses and markets

Games Global Operations Limited is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, and Prima Networks Limited holds a Malta Gaming Authority license for Type 1 gaming services. The company says it supplies content in regulated markets around the globe.

Integration and extras

Games Global also offers business support for operators, including platform integration, analytics and strategy services, plus hosted gaming solutions. Its progressive jackpot network pairs established and new games, so jackpots can anchor a lobby.

7. Playtech

Playtech isn’t only a slot studio. It’s a gambling technology company with eight content studios, Quick spin among them, and more than 25 years in the industry.

Catalogue and release pace

The portfolio is over 1,000 games, with 60+ new releases every year and a progressive jackpot network of 80+ games. The eight studios are Origins, Rarestone, Ash, Psiclone, Reel Web, Logic Labs, Eyecon and Quick spin, so you get a range of styles under one supplier.

Playtech also supplies live casino, poker, bingo, sports and retail, so one supplier can cover most of your product mix.

8. Push Gaming

Push Gaming started out taking land-based games online, and it now builds its own mobile-first HTML5 slots, including portrait-only titles like Dragon Sisters.

Catalogue and release pace

Its games page lists 22 titles, so this is a focused catalogue, not a lobby filler. New releases arrive about once a month, and Wheel of Wonders is next.

Signature titles

These are the names to look for:

  • Jammin’ Jars
  • Razor Shark
  • Fat Rabbit
  • Mystery Museum
  • Wheel of Wonders (coming soon)

Integration and extras

Source, its client platform, gives partners one place for games, tools and performance insights, alongside its BOOST tools. If you want to build rather than only buy, Yggdrasil also offers Game in a Box and Studio in a Box, which help partners create their own slots and studios.

10. Blueprint Gaming

Blueprint Gaming is a UK studio based in Newark and part of the Gauselmann (Merkur) Group, and it’s best known as the team behind the Jackpot King progressive network.

Catalogue and release pace

The lineup mixes branded slots with in-house hits, and the homepage currently leads with The Goonies Quest for Treasure 3, which has a Jackpot King version arriving this October. Alongside it sit Game of Thrones, Red Hot Catch, Kong Even Bigger Balls and King Kong Cash Even Bigger Bananas 4. Two Fishin’ Frenzy titles, Lure ‘Em In and The Big Match, are listed as UK-only releases, so they won’t suit every lobby.

Signature titles

Players tend to know Blueprint for Jackpot King, Fishin’ Frenzy, Eye of Horus, Game of Thrones and the King Kong Cash series.

Licenses and markets

The Gambling Commission regulates Blueprint Gaming Limited, Blueprint Technologies (Gibraltar) and Blueprint Technologies Limited under the same UK account, and Blueprint Technologies (Malta) holds a Malta Gaming Authority B2B critical supply license.

Integration and extras

Rapid Fire Jackpots sits next to Jackpot King and aims for smaller, more frequent wins, with pots between £/€250 and £/€7,500 and a wheel that pays 5x to 1000x stakes. Operators can integrate directly or through platforms and casino game aggregators, and there’s a dedicated operator portal.

How Operators Choose Slot Providers: 6 Criteria

How Operators Choose Slot Providers

How Operators Choose Slot Providers

A big catalogue gets a provider onto your shortlist. These six checks decide whether it stays there.

Licensing and Independent Certification

Start with the paperwork. A provider should hold licenses in the markets you serve, and its games should be tested by an independent lab such as GLI, iTech Labs, BMM Testlabs or eCOGRA. A logo on a website isn’t proof.

The UK Gambling Commission’s public register lists licensed businesses by account number, so you can look them up. Pragmatic Play is 56015, Hacksaw Gaming is 54059, and Play’n GO is 55949. If a studio can’t point you to a register entry or a named lab, move on.

RTP Range and Configurability

RTP isn’t always one number. The same game can ship in several versions, and the gap can be big. Book of Dead runs from 96.21% down to 84.18%, depending on the version. Some studios set a policy across a whole release schedule.

ELK Studios’ recent releases sit at 94%. Ask each casino provider which versions it offers, which one you’d launch with, and whether you can change it later. Two games that look identical to players can earn you very different results.

Volatility and Mechanic Spread

A lobby needs more than one kind of game. Volatility runs from low, like Starburst with a 500x max win, to high, like Tombstone Slaughter at 500,000x. Mechanics play differently too.

Megaways, Cluster Pays, Avalanche, and xMechanics each give players a different reason to spin. Check that a provider covers more than one end of the range. A studio that only ships high-volatility games gives casual players little to play.

Market and Jurisdiction Fit

A great game is of no use if you can’t offer it. Features differ by market. The UK Gambling Commission bans bonus buy features, for example, so a game built around one may not be available to your UK players.

Check how many regulated markets the provider is certified in, too. Pragmatic Play is certified or licensed in 30+ jurisdictions. Then match that list against your own licences, title by title if you have to.

Integration and Technical Fit

Check how the games reach your casino. Look for HTML5 delivery that works on mobile and desktop. Then look at the API and wallet requirements, because they decide how much work your team takes on, and whether you connect to each studio separately or to one supplier that covers several.

Confirm multi-currency support, including crypto if you run a crypto casino software. Last, ask what you can control from the back office: which games are live, in which markets, and at which RTP setting.

Commercial Model and Release Cadence

Providers charge in two main ways: a share of the revenue the games generate, or a fixed monthly fee. Which one suits you depends on your volume, so ask for both quotes. Then look at the release schedule.

Pragmatic Play ships multiple games a month, while Push Gaming releases about once a month. A faster schedule keeps a lobby fresh, but a slower studio can still earn its place if each game performs.

Why does the Same Slot Have Different RTPs at Different Casinos?

Open Book of Dead at two casinos and it can look identical. Same reels, same artwork, same bonus round. But the version behind it might return 96.21% in one lobby and 84.18% in another.

RTP, or return to player, is the share of all wagers a slot pays back over the long run. A slot with a 96% RTP returns €96 for every €100 wagered. It’s an average across millions of spins, not a promise for any single session.

Book of Dead shows how far the gap can go. Its highest version sits at 96.21% and its lowest at 84.18%, a difference of over 12 points. On €100 wagered, that’s about €12 less going back to players, from a game that looks the same.

So, who sets the number? The studio does. Studios build and publish the RTP versions for each game, and only the studio can create or change them. A casino can’t alter a game’s maths. It can only choose which of the studio’s available versions to host. When a casino runs a low version, that’s a choice made from a menu.

That choice has consequences for you as an operator. Players compare versions, review sites to score casinos on what they host, and regulators can scrutinize it. The version you pick is a business decision that other people can see and judge.

Game Studio Listed RTP
Book of 99 Relax Gaming 99%
Blood Suckers Megaways Red Tiger 97.66%
Sweet Bonanza Pragmatic Play 96.49%
Book of Dead Play’n GO 96.21%
Age of the Gods Playtech 95.02%
Nitropolis 5 ELK Studios 94%

How to Integrate Online Casino Slot Providers: Direct, Aggregator or Turnkey Platform

Three routes get slot content into your casino. They differ in how many contracts you manage and how much control you keep.

Direct integration means one contract and integration per studio. It’s the most work, and it gives you full control of RTP versions and the release schedule.

An aggregator gives you one contract and one API for many studios, so adding content doesn’t mean repeating the work.

A Turnkey or white label platform comes with content already integrated, so you can launch without building anything.

Route Contracts to manage Control over content Best for
Direct One per studio Full: RTP versions and release schedule Large operators with a technical team
Aggregator One for many studios Set through the aggregator’s options Operators with their own platform
Turnkey or white label One platform contract Set by the platform New operators who want to launch fast

How PieGaming Helps Operators Integrate Slot Content

PieGaming’s online casino software comes with slot games from multiple studios already integrated, so you can open your lobby with content from day one instead of building each integration yourself.

Wrapping Up…

There’s no single best online casino slot provider in 2026. There’s the right mix for your casino. Pragmatic Play, Play’n GO and Hacksaw can all fill a lobby, but each one fits a different market, budget and player. Run every studio through the same six checks, and look hardest at the RTP version, market clearance and integration route. Those three decide what you earn. The studio’s name only gets players to click.

FAQ's

  • How do operators choose the best online slot providers?

They compare studios on six checks: licensing, RTP range, volatility and mechanics, market fit, integration and commercial terms. RTP version, market clearance and integration route matter most.

  • Which provider is best for online slot games?

No single provider fits every casino. Pragmatic Play, Play’n GO and Hacksaw suit different markets and players, so choose studios that match your licenses, audience and integration route.

  • Can startups integrate multiple slot providers?

Yes. An aggregator gives a startup many studios through one contract and one API, and a turnkey platform comes pre-integrated. Direct integration with each studio is the most work.

  • What licenses should a slot provider hold?

Licenses for each market you serve, such as UKGC or MGA B2B licenses, plus games tested by an independent lab like GLI, iTech Labs, BMM or eCOGRA.

  • Do providers affect best payout online slot claims?

Yes, partly. The studio builds the RTP versions, and the casino chooses which one to host. So, payout depends on the version your casino runs, not only the provider.
